Loran talks about custom work
In these days of so much fluff, it is easy to ignore those things which have no personal meaning. “Just happening onto” something that truly sings to you, lovely as it can be, is a rare occurrence.
My own path these days is working with individuals to create something uniquely special for them or a loved one, be it some symbol- or perhaps even a horse portrait- designed in stained glass, a garden portrait from their own yard, their favorite flower, personal quantum reflective ribbons, or even a mural in their dining room of their favorite space. I love to create, on a personal level, whatever might enjoin an inner heart with a tangible, visual element, to give one a real connection with something they love, for a long time to come.
I know many artists do not like to work on the level of pleasing another. They are driven to simply create for themselves. While I do, on occasion, work from my own inspirations, I also enjoy taking my own self out of the process in order to create what someone else would like to have. And I have many very happy customers.
The works on this page are but a few examples of commissioned works recently completed. As you can see, I cover many different styles and mediums.
